Guidelines
While we welcome submissions from writers of all genres, our primary interests are
- Poetry
- All poetry – formal and otherwise
- Structured, formal verse is special to us, but don’t sacrifice substance for meter
- We are always looking for exceptional free verse
- Short Stories
- Collections of short stories would ideally have a common underlying theme
- Each individual story should have an instructive and/or thought-provoking narrative arc
- Essays & Memoirs
- We are looking for works of creative non-fiction with strong emotive content and/or model life experiences
We also encourage the submission of original works that bring out Muslim thinking and preoccupation in creative ways.
Manuscripts with profanity-laced language and themes are unlikely to be selected for publication.
